USA grown cotton fibers are woven on old-fashioned shuttle looms in Ecuador. We have created viable career opportunities for young women in the Quito area. We also hope by bringing jobs to the region we are doing our part to bolster the economy of this third world nation.
We use natural materials for buttons. Most of our buttons are crafted in Tagua nut, also known as vegetable ivory, which comes from a South American palm. It is non-toxic, pure cellulose, and almost indistinguishable from ivory in density, color and durability. The buttons absorb color in the dying process to coordinate with the garments. We also use shell buttons in a variety of sizes to compliment our fabrics.
Each piece is inspected to maintain high quality standards, then carefully pressed, folded and packed to fly to the US, where your order goes through customs, and is delivered to your store.

Approximately 8 years ago I purchased a Frances style Iridium white shirt and a pair of cocoa pants, also Iridium from a boutique in Destin, Florida. Ever since that time I have been trying to locate the apparel somewhere in the Atlanta, Georgia area, but with no luck. Recently on vacation in Mexico Beach, Florida I found it again. Any chance of finding a retailer in Atlanta or ordering online from someone? I receive numerous compliments on my shirt. Thanks, Pat
